Trans problems...
Hello all. New to the site looking for some help!
My trans is having a little bit of issues, hopefully nothing major like needing a rebuild or a new trans, but I haven't heard to much good about the E40D which is in my 1994 F150 5.8L 4X4
Heres my problems
Everyday, truck warm or cold when I go to put my truck into gear it jerks and hits pretty noticeably as in i put my truck in drive it hits/jerks same for reverse.
Also whenever I'm driving and I let of the gas pedle it kicks out of the gear its in (I'm assuming OD?, but I'm not sure) it doesn't kick into neutral or anything like that just noticably kicks into the lower gear. hard to explain but I hope somebody gets it.
Any advice or comments to help would be awesome. I just bought the truck about a month ago, and the trans fluid looks OKAY, but I have no idea when it was changed last.
