Question Electric Cooling fan

I plan on installing an electric cooling fan on my '84 sme time in the near future to gain hp and fuel economy. I'm not really sure what size I want but i know I'm going to mount it as a pusher. I've seen kits for 14" and 16" fans and they both say they are great for trucks but I don't know which one to get.

any input is much appreciated

Anyone???

I'm wondering if anyone has a rough guess of what a stock fan on a 351 pulls.

Anything over 1,500 cfm?

what i was told when looking at ele. fans for my bronco. was to buy a fan that will cover as much rad. area i could fit. the more air flow the better the system works.

Ok Thanks!!

I was thinking a 16" but if they can handle an 18" i might get that. Will I need a high output alternator??

I'm runnin duel 10" fans with 5 140W Procomp offroad lights with stock alt. with no trouble. So ya shouldn't with just the fan.
