C750 Door Weatherstripping
C750 Door Weatherstripping
Hi,
New to the forum but not Fords. Trying to get my latest acquisition--1968 C750 rollback--on the road. I need to replace the door weatherstrips as they are totally gone. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

The following fit all C Series Tilt Cabs, 1957 to end of production.
C1TZ-9120530-B (replaced: B7TB-9120530-A, B9TB-9120530-A, C1TB-9120530-B & C, C1TZ-9120530-A) .. Right Door Weatherstrip / Obsolete
SALEM MOTORS in Crookston MN has ONE = 218-261-1338.

C1TZ-9120531-B (replaced B7TB-9120531-A, B9TB-9120531-A, C1TB-9120531-B & C, C1TZ-9120531-A) .. Left Door Weatherstrip / Obsolete
NORTHSIDE FORD TRUCKS in Portland OR has ONE = 503-282-7777.
No other FoMoCo Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any of these w/strips. I ran all the part numbers on the two parts locater sites, AFAIK, they are not reproduced.
Dennis Carpenter is the largest reproducer of w/strips, is located in Concord NC (800-476-9653). You might call and ask if he's repro'd them.
Tim, if these sources don't work, find a supplier for Auveco products and find a match for your seals. The seals I bought did not match the original rubber on my truck, despite the fact that the part number was the same. Ford updated the rubber profile but kept the same number, so now it matches the profile of newer trucks. The newer part did not have the pins to hold the seal to the bottom of the door, so it will require 3M adhesive all the way around. Let me know if you learn something different.
for years I have been using weather spriping from Napa. Comes in a 25'roll. It is in
the PSI book they give you for free. I use it on F Cabs & I do have a C800 and it looks
the same to me, I find the bad thing is I have to take the door off to install.

I have a 1974 C-1000 Pumper truck, has there been any sources for rubber on these trucks in the last decade? I want to replace all my seals if I can. If they aren't remaking these sets, are there any F-100 seals that are close? I really didn't want to use generic seals if i didn't have to. Thanks in advance.
