Been sitting since 97, with half a tank of gas, took the carb off and cleaned it and put new accelerator pump in. Dam thing runs good, fuel pump works, runs off the tan/brown gas that's in it, and smokes like its on fire at WOT. Funny tho, looks like a D44 REAR axle in it.

 

I bought a 75 or 76 f100 with a 44 rear- first and only one I've ever seen in a full size Ford. Swap a 9" in there and sell the axle to a jeep guy.

 

probably is a d44. seen a few in person. thought the first one i saw was a 5 lug 60 at first but realized it was way too small. nice looking pickemup.

 

Funny u guys should say that, first glance I was like , D60LS, than I slid under it n nope. D44 LS. It has a powr lock or something in it. Both tires spin under power.

I have a D60, a 9 inch, and a 8.8 all in the box of the thing. The 9 is most likely going in it.

It also has a really goofy rear shackle. Part of it rests on the spring. There's a total of 3 bolts back there on each side. Ill have to take a pic. Lol.

I have 2 FE motors that I can rebuild for it, and make a sleeper out of it or something.
