a/c issue...need advice.
this was perfromed at a shop and now they are stumped. my compressor dook a dump. replaced with dryer and all schrader valves. added dye and no leaks. works ok under load (moving with gas pedal) temperature increases in b2b traffic and also when not on gas pedal. perfromance testing the compressor in the shop, all works fine, pressures are where they should be. get out on road, not so much. upset the wife on an hourt long trip today once we hit some traffic.
the compressor we used was identical to ford unit but wasnt Ford brand from Ford dealer. But this unit does NOT put out the cool air like old unit did. Still humid in vehicle also but air is cold when driving.
any ideas or experience with this issue? thanks for your input.

Did they verify the new compressor has the same performance specifications and the old one? Maybe you need an orifice tube (front) or a TXV (rear)? Not moving enough air across the condenser? (Fan Clutch and/or fan)
