coolant leaking-head or intake?
I've got a coolant leak on my 2000 ranger w/4.0 liter engine. Cant really see where its coming from. I can see that the area at the corner of the drivers side head,[the head gasket] is wet but I dont see it leaking there.It seems like it could be coming from above but I cant see it because the power steering pump and ac pump are in the way. When I first start it up it'll run a little rough for a few seconds and clear out. I notice too that the temp gauge will not read right,[reads low] on occasion but then itll read right. The motor has 120,000 miles.Does anyone have any ideas of where this leak is coming from? I hate as hell to have to change the head gasket!!
