Exhaust question.

Well i want to straight pipe my truck (03 F-250 6.0) i got some tubing for exhaust and was wondering is there anything i need to do anything to it or can i just cut the cat out and muffler and just weld new pipe in there? i did it on my last 95 and it was fine but not too savy on the 6.0 thx in advance

I went the real cheap route. I bought a 4 foot chunk of pipe and cut out the muffler and welded the pipe in the muffler place leaving the cat on. Cost 60 bucks.

Going to do the same mod to my 04 psd but haven't yet cuz all i see on the net for the pipe is over $100 good to see it is cheaper let us hear before and after when u are done

I have a straight pipe w/o the cat also. It was so loud that I added a resonator which cured the noise w/o a muffler. I'm older so loud pipes weren't my thing anymore.

I wouldn't cut the cat pipe so it's unusable..... cost too much to replace if UNCLE comes knocking.
