supercharged, have you.
Has anyone installed a supercharger or lightning motor in the big bronco's?
keeping smog legal in so cal.
is there any computer issues or upgrade to newer computer.
i have a 95' w/ 6"procomp superunner 35' bfg's 351 w e4od 4.88 grs
high flow cat w/flowmaster muffler 3"
advice welcomed

Oh yeah, I've researched the heck out of it. First of all, lightning 5.8s didn't have a supercharger, so hoping you'll get lucky finding a cheap lightning supercharger you can swap over isn't going to happen. People swap the lightning motors all the time, but usually it's easier to build yours to lightning spec than it is to find a lightning motor. It's not that difficult or expensive, aftermarket heads are all over the place, edelbrock and a few knock-off brands make some really nice intakes that are better than the GT40s, then slap a cam with better top-in and you basically have a lightning motor.
With MAF a cam, intake and head change should cause you little issues.
For a supercharger, the biggest issue is cost.. the few superchargers that exist are in the thousands. General concensus is that money in other areas will give you more of a power gain. Usually with 5.8s from waht I've read (just about everywhere) is that supercharger comes later when you're trying to squeeze a bit more power out of an already built 5.8 and rarely until then.
If you're serious it's gonna be a lot easier to piece together a turbo, like something off an old diesel or something. you can usually fab the pieces you need and get it all together for under $1000, but good luck keeping it reliable. I've seen more than a few people do this, but they're usually just to show that they can more than it is for the power gains.
