If I can find a small chrome 6.7 or Diesel badge to replace it, I would.
Try Billetbadges.com. They can customize just about anything that you can dream up.

I don't like labels on vehicles and "debadging" them is always the first thing I do when I get a new one.

On the todo list is filling in the S U P E R D U T Y on the tailgate and when that happens, the big blue oval on the tail gate will depart as well. Not sure what the plan is for the S U P E R D U T Y on the grille and front oval is yet.
If people don't know what they are looking at without reading the labels, they don't need to know.
I like your plan and would love that look, but I imagine you would have to use a lot of body filler to smooth everything out?

Also if you have any of the glue residue - a little WD-40 will take that off easily..

My truck is plain ol' boring Oxford White and I'm leaving the FX-4 stickers in place. My Son likes them so they'll stay!

Anyhow, I'm more concerned with performance rather than looks.

You've all convinced me to remove the 4x4 decal and the 6.7 badge from my truck. But I wanted to see what it would look like first though so I did some photoshop to preview it. I've been staring at these two pictures all day and I'm really liking the clean look without the decal and the badge. This weekend I'm planning to get out the hair dryer & the goo off and remove them.

Damit Jim! Now you got me rethinking about taking my 6.7 badge off!

For me, I don't mind the badge. The sticker is another story. When I first saw the new one I thought it had been damaged. It still looks that way to me. Here's hoping the '12 will be different/better or mine will come off as well.

Good job on the pic comparison......................

Just my opinion.....I like the badge but do not like the 4wd. I like the FX4 decal. I would order a FX4 decal and put it in place of the 4x4. Just my opinion.

Either way its a good lookin truck!!!!

Does anyone here have some photoshop skills that could potentially design an alternate badge and submit to billetbadges for production? I think that would be pretty cool.
