I went to Heavy duty CAT ELC, It's been probably about 6 maybe 7 months now.
Me too, I used the Fleetrite ELC flavor (its Red), did the swap in 03-04?? Can't remember, I have a filter and it still looks brand new. I have an early bird, and no adverse effects. Bout time I had some luck.
So are all the replacement cups the upgraded material so if you change them you'll be G2G? Injectors are on my horizon, and I might just do this too.

The problem isn't the injector cup material, it's the injector cup SEALANT material that is adversely affected by the ELC.
The PowerStroke injector cups are all brass, regardless of the year.
When they are installed into the cast iron heads, they are pressed in while using a sealant on the outside of them, to seal between the brass and the cast head. That's the sealant that is different pre- and post- 99.5.
Inside the cups, where the injectors are, they are sealed by o-rings, and have no other sealant.
