Transfer case ford explorer 1998
When I accelerate I hear and feel a "banging" / "vibration" in the drive, If I accelerate slow or very hard there is none, but in between these limits there is that strange "banging" . It looks like the transfer case is switching 2wd and 4wd ON and OFF.
If I switch to 4x4 High constantly, the problem is solved.
(U-joints are new)
Is it also possible to disable the automatic switching between 2WD an 4 WD, and still be able to use the constant 4x4 high.
It would be great if somebody could help me futher on this subject.
