Okay, farmer Don's idea of decent shape with little rust and mine was a bit different and I passed on the truck. Thanks for all the advice as it made my decision not to go with it pretty easy.

One thing I will say about it is if I was already restoring one, I'd of considered it. The funny thing was that the sheet metal, bed, and interior were a mess but the Ranger upper and lower trim was in relatively good shape as was the grill. Still had all four of the original hub caps too.

I did buy another rust bucket that he had that was running but as it's not a Ford and I have no intention of restoring it beyond a reliable beast of burden, I won't elaborate.

I don't want to violate any rules on this forum, but if anyone is in need of the trim or grill I can point you in the right direction.

Mexican, your post made me laugh and after seeing this one yours looks even nicer than before, and it was already looking very nice. But the cost of the truck and the cost of getting myself to and back from Loredo was a bit more than I wanted to chew right now.

Again thanks for all the help and back to the hunt.
