water pumps
Is there a difference in the rotation for the water pumps on a 1989 460 verses a 1972 460?
Auto parts places tell me the part numbers are the same between the two BUT don't have one of either in stock to visibly see the impellers.
I thought the fan screwed onto the water pump for the 89 and that it was left hand thread as well.
Been wrong before so thought I'd post it up here and see if anyone was smarter.
Hope I don't have to make another fake post about my dirty neighbors!!!!

You could look on Rockauto.com and when you pull up the part scroll over the part number and it'll say "buyers guide", click that and it'll tell you what all years and type of vehicles that part will fit. It's worth a shot. Also they usually have pics from multiple angles of the part.
