TS chip wire routing

I was wanting to put my chip switcher in the dash bezel next to the WTS cluster but I don't think it can be done without extending the wiring. Curious if anyone has managed to make it happen without stretching wires. I may just fab up a little bracket that attaches to the steering column so that the switch is "hidden" under the column.

My wires weren't long enough to reach there either, I just mounted it kind of like where you said, under the steering wheel, but off to the left some though. Didn't want to mess around with the wires.

Mines just below there and I have another foot or 2 of wire curled up under the dash.
Probably closer to a foot.

Not hard to extend the wire. All the switch does is ground a colored wire to select the tune. As long as you can solder go get some 24 gauge wire and extend it. I broke my switch and had to replace it. I worked at radio shack at the time and got a metal one and had to solder wire to the switch. So I put an extra 3 ft so I can put it in the same spot when I get time. But I put bullet connectors so I could maneuver it easier mounting it.

Mine is below the steering wheel to the right a bit. Seems to be a good spot, except I can't see it easily when I'm driving witout moving my head around if I need to switch it.

the black wire here is the ts chip wire here it is going behind the ebrake to the pcm.
this is a shoot up to the bottom of the collom.. you can see the black wire zip tied to a bracit on the bottom of the collom
this is a shot of the ts chip wire going up topside... with the dash panel off looking down you can see a better way of running you wire
here is a shot up top with dash breazel pulled back.. you can see the vent duck and there is a lot of room there... it dont take to long to run the wire and as youy can see i dont have a lot of of wire left .. just enough to pull breazel out bout 4 in...
when all said and done this is what you should end up with... if you need any other pics or help just let me no man.... i like the chip switch ther you can see where you are and switch it with out surching for it....
