There's a few guys here local who still make them up professionally but they are nothing like the old signs. I think that most of the signs today are computer generated...gone are the days of hand-lettering and gold leaf. The tailgate sounds noval, but too big for me. I like the idea of the plexi-glass. I am thinking of bending it into an L shape so that I can park the front tire on it to prevent it falling over in the wind or by some yahoo running into it. Jag
We have a few companies here in Tucson, AZ that do graphics. We even had a navy sub emblem printed for my father in laws tbucket. The cost is very reasonable and it will have a true professional look. They can even include a picture of your truck on the board. We are even looking at having them make shirts for us.
