Display Sign Design

Has anybody made a sign to set up in front of your truck while you're at shows? I'm thinking of something that says:

1954 FORD F-100
289 V8 from 67 Mustang
C4 Transmission
Paint - Chili Pepper Red

Owner: John and Nancy Townsel

Etc. Etc.

If you have an example, please post a picture. I'm looking for ideas now, so I only have to make one.

There's a few guys here local who still make them up professionally but they are nothing like the old signs. I think that most of the signs today are computer generated...gone are the days of hand-lettering and gold leaf. Here's one from a truck in our club, not very fancy but it has a lot of info displayed...

I saw one recently for a F1 that was made of a F1 tailgate. Neat.

A tinted, colored plexi-glass, in a color similar to your truck, makes a nice sign board you can hand letter or add graphics or vinyl lettering to.

The tailgate sounds noval, but too big for me. I like the idea of the plexi-glass. I am thinking of bending it into an L shape so that I can park the front tire on it to prevent it falling over in the wind or by some yahoo running into it.
