For the past week I've had a cyclical squeal sound while driving that changes with speed. I only hear it over 25 mph and not sure when it stops due to wind noise. Then today I noticed a clicking that sounds like it's coming from the front, but only when I'm going straight or turning left like in a curve. Nothing when turning right. I have new u-joints at the house for the stub axles but am waiting for my inner and outer axle seals to come in the mail before I put on new u-joints. Could these noises be due to u-joints or something else? Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm not sure on the sounds but if you need some help let me know and shoot me a PM. I would like to see all this done as it's on my to do list. I have a lot of tools and air compressor. Are you doing ball joints as well? I have a couple of write-ups saved on my pc if you need them. I'll do some searching and post them up.
I actually just replaced my ball joints a month ago so I know those are in good shape. Did new Ford units. I just ordered new inner and outer axle seals and I have new u-joints, so I may just bite the bullit and buy new hub/bearing assemblies too and see if that fixes it. Tdpower, I'll let you know when I'm gonna do it all. I've got a bunch of tools and a compressor at the house. Beers cold too!

Why didn't you replace the seals and u-joints when you did the balljoints?
