intercooler question

I am flushing out the intercooler (stock plastic ends) while cleaning everything.

I notice only one of the tubes has the steel reinforcing ring inside it.

Should they both?

They are both slightly out of round, but the empty one more so.

Not sure what you are yalkign about..... The intake Plenums or the intercooler itself?
