Drop Saddle Tanks?

Well the project continues. I have searched and searched and cannot find out how to ...drop...the saddle tanks...on my 1973 F 250 4x4 truck. Ther are no visible bolts, straps, nuts, etc. that one typically finds. The tanks hang from the bed and are located between the frame and the body. The bolts appear to pass through the tanks in a sleeve. There are no visible bolts under the tanks and as you can see from the pics the bolt heads are hemispherical.

These tanks appear to be in great shape but I want to make sure there is no rust in them--I have not had any rust or varnish in the fuel filters.

Underside of the tank looks like this:

The bed mounting bolt looks like this:

Here is the truck.

Yeah I feel rather dumb. Help please?

That first pic is your bolt. It goes all the way through the tank. I had to torch mine out they were rusted so bad. You can buy a piece of square stock and bend it into a L to hold the top while someone takes the bottom nuts off. Good luck.

Correction. I thought the first pic was the top. But those are still the bolts. The square hole pieces are the nuts. Mine were mounted just the opposite.
