Head Gasket Leak
I have a 1995 Ford F150 with a 351 engine that has developed what
appears to be a minor head gasket leak from the foreward part of the
left cylinder bank. At this point no sure if is coming from the intake manifold or from the head gasket itself. Looking for any information from other similar truck owners that may have experienced the same problem and what you did to repair it. I am considering doing the repair myself and will be putting a pressure gauge on it this weekend to isolate the leak. But I really do think the leak is coming from the head gasket. What would this repair cost if it is doen at the dealer?? Any other experiences that others may have had would be greatly appreciated. The part that really irks me is that the truck has always been well maintained and with the mileage just over 65000 it is a premature failure.
Thanks in Advance----Your help is appreciated.

I have a 92 302 not the same engine I know but I had a leak that I thought was the water pump. Turned out to be the gasket on the thermostat housing. I have also had to replace the little by-pass hose on the water pump and the hose to the throttle body due to pin holes
