Big blue 99' F-350 just pulled 4 tons of hay 85 miles. Everything was great until the last 15 miles. My truck didn't seem to have any power even going down hill. I pulled of the road to let it cool down and give it a minute to catch its breath. When i started back on the freeway it had power untill I shifted in 5th gear. then no more power. Could it be my injectors, maybe my turbo? Thanks for any advice.
Have you done the in tank mods or cleaned the screens inside the mixing chamber? The truck not having power while it's under load sounds like a fuel restriction.
But be sure the engine oil is full, not due for a change, and is the proper weight and rating. Also make sure the fuel and air filters are in good shape.
In tank mods? Screens inside mixing chambers? I am new to all this diesel lingo. I do know oil, but what weight should I be running? Are there any fuel filters better than the others.
