Radiator question
I have an older T-bird with original radiator. We did a head gasket job on it 2 yrs ago. Also replaced radiator cap/thermostat. Car temp rises to the hot side of the gauge when weather is in the 90+ arena. Other wise the heat gauge sits in the middle zone. Years before I bought a new Mustang. The car would over heat on very hot days when the a/c was on. Dealer tested everything but it would never over heat for them (because the car wasn't in adverse (hot) situation). I found out after the gaskets blew that the radiator was a factory defective one and was only about 60% effective. Anyway does anyone here think my radiator on the T-Bird, with similar symptoms, is either corroded or shot?
