surge
so recently i have noticed my truck surge after going from drive to reverse and back (like in a parking lot or trying to get backed up to my trailer by myself) and am wondering if anyone else has had this issue....... i was leaning towards changing my fuel filter its due anyway any thoughts?

First thing I think of with surge is ICP sensor but you need to get the truck scanned for codes first.
Do you know if your 04 truck has an 03 motor with the ICP under the turbo or is the ICP in the passenger side valve cover?

Second this diagnosis......I had the same issue and the ICP cured it. Look on ebay. I found it plain wrapped, OEM and new for a fraction of the price. Make sure you know which one you have since there is a black connector end and a tan conector end.
My truck is an '04 11/03 build and it took the tan one I spoke of.
so i will try what you suggest
