VERY FIRST TIME!!!!!

I drove Mater under his own power today!!!!! First time ever......

Had to get him out of the barn, so I drove him up the driveway in front of the house....
Used a wire through the firewall for a throttle... little tricky steering with one hand.

ABSOLUTELY NO tracktion with NO weight in the back..

Like a KID again...

Awesome. Not sure why but I really love the 'not front clip but the grille is on' look, never seen it, lol

WARNING: Buckets (including plastic milk boxes, pop cartons, and pails) will buck you off when used as a temporary seat. You don’t have to ask how I know that.

Nice maiden voyage, good on ya mate.

YEee Haaawwwww
Yes, need to get that cat litter pail upholstered And it was a bit precarious..

I put the headlight grill on to keep it out of the way and getting banged up.

It would (will) be a LOT easier when I get the gas peddle hooked up...

But it was a GREAT milestone...
