Anyone here own their own business?

Nowadays I am a self-employed "Jack of All Trades, Master of None".
For a buck or two, I'll do most anything that somebody needs doing.
I've been doing this stuff for the last fifteen years or so, since aerospace left Southern California. My prior working days were spent as an Avionics Field Engineer for three major avionics manufacturers. Radar and "glass cockpits" were my specialty.
Today I keep the houses running for a gang of little ol' ladies in the San Fernando Valley. Word of mouth has been good in the past, but the business is slowing down as I approach retirement.
I am also technically a part-time employee of a company that provides software, firmware, and hardware for access controls for gated communities. I do more electro-mechanical stuff than anything else, and I've been "cleaning up" the electrical installations that came before my time. I'm apparently doing too-good-a-job, as the service calls to those sites is slowing down significantly. I'm working myself out of a job, so-to-speak. Guess that's a good thing, considering......
So, since I file a Schedule C each year, I'll consider myself self-employed.

I started a business called Pistoph. It's a clothing line and we cater to the HD and MMA crowds. It's pretty much on hold while I'm over here in Iraq but I plan to hit the events hard when I get home. Will be adding an in-house commercial embroidery machine when I get home as well. My plan is to take over the world.
Go Ahead, Get Pistoph!
*edit* I haven't been here in a while. Just realized one of my logo's is my avatar. DOH!
