How much paint do it need!???
I have a 92 f150 short bed 4x4 and im way to cheap to get it paint professionally lol i already for it primed and body work done but im wondering how many qts of paint ill need to put a nice layer of paint and good layer of clear coat? im gonna use dupli-color paint from autozone they have a special going on. Any ideas on how many qts it is?

My truck took 1 gallon with about a pint left over given that mine was a standard cab long box and the bed rails were painted and not the surface area of the inside of the box. Beneath the hood and in between the cab and box were painted before hand as the painter requested (no one really sees under there so its ok to experiment) I would probably buy 4 quarts or 1 gallon in your case
