Anyone have a no start after opening the water separator plug? I drained the water yesterday and got quite a bit of sediment out. I drove 5 miles, turned it off, started fine and drove another 5 miles then turned it off. It sat for a couple of hours and it won't start. Is there a way I can clean the filters before new ones arrive as they will take a couple of days to get here?
I am ready for my time in the corner...arghh.. damn dogs
Hunter, my 1 year and 4 month old puppy has learned to open the gate with his mouth, I put a lock on it. My puppy tried to chew through the lock, braking several teeth.. Today he sits at the vet getting teeth pulled because they were broke down to the nerves and have became infected..damn dogs..
Rich, thanks. I just got off the phone with Kelley Trailers in Flatrock and am going to pick up a 7x16 there on Saturday morning and head back north.
Good choice Chris,
I have bought a couple of trailers from Tim at Kelley's Trailers, also have done some Glass work for him on his building, it was a pleasure to do business with him.
Rich, yeah I'm going to get to Farmington about 9 tonight. Then head over to Kelly's in the morning so I can be there at about 9 and head back north. Quick trip, well it should be but Herself will be with me!
The 2000 PSD drove flawlessly (almost) to Macon GA where I am now awaiting my brother to show up in his Nissan (car) from NC to go the rest of the way. Have a nice hotel. I got here about 6pm. And wouldn't you know? There was a corner within walking distance from the hotel so the three-five could sit and rest with his trailer while I went and drank about what I've done. Tomorrow at 6am I pull out of here, hit Weeki Wachee FL and head back to MI to be home Sunday. And at work Monday.
Ok, so the (almost) is this: I was running him pretty hard through the mountains. Only pulling an empty 26' enclosed trailer. But running 75-80 mph and at times it'd downshift to third and be about 2800-3000 ish rpm. If I run it up there for a while and then come to an idle, say in that traffic jam they call Altanta, it was saying knock....knock....knock...knock... the dots are for pause. A little fuel and it went away. From the mountains to Atlanta I notice a knock when it idles. When I got here to Macon, no knocking at all. And not a LOUD knock, sounds like a single knock per RPM so like a rod bearing or something. I think I'll just put some MOTOR HONEY in it. Ok. Back to the corner.
