Tell them at least your Truck didnt come with a PURSE like the Chevy Trucks !
You will get her fixed and you will forget all about this
I do understand the waiting part, I dont have time to wait either,.,,,EVER......lol hope the time flys for you, find something to do .....makes time go faster.
Polish Truck, Shine Chrome, wash Windows, Vacuume truck, put new Air freshener in, make sure all Radio stations are programmed in, Tires are inflated perfect, Air-vents are clean of all dust, ........ you get the Idea
I hate the look of chevy trucks, except for the 08 and newer. The interiors are still awful, but better than they used to be. At least I've got one buddy here with an '06 F150...to combat the 3 chevy guys. I am the only one with a 3/4 ton and diesel. So, eff 'em when my truck comes back. I hope they get stuck so I can just idle by and wave. They are all waiting for me to put the boat in for some salmon fishing....none of them want to try....27' big cabin cruiser.
If the truck were here, I'd probably do those things and then some. The dealership will have the FICM by noon tomorrow.
We've been to SoCal, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley and are currently in Vegas.
We'll be leaving Vegas tomorrow for Henderson NV to see Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
Hope everyone is having a great week!
BTW...Death Valley was only 110 degrees yesterday...a "cool" day by their standards I'm told!
A really neat thing about Death Valley is that much of the park is BELOW sea level...I've got some really cool photos of the GPS on elevation showing a (-) in front of the elevation number!...Badwater Basin area is 282 feet BELOW sea level...a really cool salt flat area!
lol Pat bring your Truck over ,,,,,, but I charge by the Hr !
Jimmy ,...... yup we had a 03 chevy ( glorified stationwagon as I called it ) HATED that thing. Took me 3 years of begging and promising things before Hubby got me my Ferd back
Morning Everyone!!! ITs Friday!!! by the sounds of it, time to turn the air back on..
Have a jeep in my drive way I am going to start pulling the motor from.. Not sure what to expect this time.
SHe was driving and it just shut off. I went and checked it out, found the rotor was destroyed. Np big deal, put the new cap and rotor in, She would not run at an idle, but would run while accelerating. Had no power to barely move itself, felt loaded up. Not really popping through the carb, like you would expect with a timing chain issue.
2 footted it until it started to overheat. Pulled it the rest of the way with a strap.
Got it home, checked compression, all but 1 cylinder was reading 75 psi or less, the 1 cylinder it 100 psi mark.
Pulled the valve cover to check to see if there was any presure on the valve springs, no SEEN issues there.
Was given a 300.00 budgit if I can keep the jeep running for another year, at least motor wise.
Was thinking, even if I find something that makes sense, the motor still needs the cylinders honed out, and new rings at the VERY least. I am not going to pull this off for 300.00. Hmm, going to look for a motor.
