All I can say is yuck! Stacks belong on big rigs not pickup trucks. If you have to do it go with 4 inch ones.

or diesels with a good amount of power. The only working purpose of stacks is to raise the flow of exhaust above the vehicle, reducing the amount of soot build up on the vehicle and trailer.

So unless your truck is diesel and rolls a whole lot of coal all the time, and you pull a trailer alot, I would say stacks are not necessary. There's other things to spend money on with our trucks that will give you more benifit. But personally, i like the look of stacks, and plan on getting them for my truck (i also plan on getting about 350-400 hp out of my 7.3 Powerstroke, so they will serve their purpose).

I prefer stacks on a flat bed, Flareside or at least ones that are outside the body. I must admit, I have a fond spot for stacks on a truck. Brings back memories of riding in my Father's '33 Ford with a Flathead V8 and open stacks. (I believe the front fenders are off a '36 Ford car)
