40 MPH ?!?! What a bunch of wusses! I have hit 80 in a couple of the straight sections with my Miata, bet I could easily beat that with the Solstice with the right tires...
Now the 56, that would be another story unless I find a full Jag suspension sometime.
You can pick up a suction cup mount for a video camera for ~$50 on Amazon that you could stick on your side window or even on the roof, fender or hood. I use one on the back deck of the Solstice to record AX runs. You need an extra wide angle aux lens on the camera. Also inexpensive if your camera has a screw thread on the front of the lens.
About 1/2 way through there was a late model Camaro that tried to keep up with us but we lost him after a couple of curves, the last I say of him he was almost side ways. Jeff, I was following you and Courtney said or should I say SCREAMED, Pa-PAW your doing 60 at times and what are those black marks thats going straight off tha side of the road.
Like I said before, I really wasn't watching the speedo too much, really didn't want the group I was leading getting a speeding ticket though. My pockets don't go deep enough to pay a ticket for 80 in a 30 MPH zone, and since we were there to play in the twisties, I didn't see a need for high speed in between.
