I kknow that this may be hard to imagine what these rims look like but I was in the scrap yard yesterday and found a late 70s truck with some 5spoke rims on it that the outside of the spokes were painted black.I swear I have seen these rims somewhere else but I can't remember where or if they are stock. I can't seem to find a picture of them anywhere and I didn't think to take a picture. Anyone have any idea what I am talking about if they are stock or not and if they are are they worth anything? There is a full set of 4 on the truck.
Not quite sure what you're talking about here. Not to offend you, but the description wasn't the best.
Try to post up a pick to help us out some more. I don't believe that Ford ever offered a 5-spoke rim with our trucks though. They were all steel rims, usually had hub caps on them as well (the old FoMoCo caps).
I know for a fact that Ford offered more than just the steel rims if you do some research you can find em. I wish I had taken a picture when I was up there would have made this 100x easier to explain. here is a link to some stock rims that were offered on these trucks that were not steel rims. 1978 Ford Truck F150 Rims, 1978 Ford Truck F150 Wheels at OriginalWheels.com
