Problem and the check engine light
Just purchased 99 F250 7.3. Could there be any problems with glow plugs/injectors etc. that wouldn't cause the check engine light to warn about by staying on.
I have noticed, twice now, that when I started the truck in the morning I got some white smoke out the exhaust for 15 to 20 seconds. It then goes away. This is after probably 15 starts total. Don't think there's a head gasket problem. Antifreeze level still on max mark. Just wondered if maybe injector leaking every now and then causing the smoke or if I have another problem not setting a trouble code.
