Man this thing is putting me thru the ringer all of a sudden.
Recently did carb rebuild associated with other problems, well I'm ready to move on to radiator and weird things keep happening.
Been driving it, seems to be running pretty good now, then today was going to take to jy to look for radiator.
Had trouble cranking and running when I discovered gas was coming out of air horn vents. Adjusted float to specs. According to paper I got with kit it was, with needle seated, 7/16 from top of float to mating surface of air horn.I actually had to bend it upwards to acheive this which to me, would let more gas in?
Any ideas?

I take it you have a autolite 2100. I've set the float in one of those before that did the exact same thing. I just bent the float some back the other way to adjust the level till it ran good. Those carbs are extremely simple to work on the dont really have a whole lot to them.
well thanks man, but I just found the problem...
Chunk of crap in the seat. Took out seat and it was hanging out the bottom of it. Looked like a rubbery piece of varnish or something. Runs fine now.
I'm tellin' ya some odd shart has been happening lately...now maybe I can get back to my radiator worries...
