You do a great service to all the members here!

1969 F600 assembled in Mahwah NJ (E) w/330 2V M/D FT engine (C).

You posted a pic of the Warranty Plate in your thread in the 1967/72 forum. I decoded all of it there.

I have a 1955 F-900 with a 317 C.I.D. engine. The number on the (bad) crankshaft is EAD 6303- C
I found a crank for sale with the number EAM 6303-A
Does anybody have any idea if it will fit? The seller says that it fits '52---'54

If you need parts, obsolete or not, I can look up the numbers, then search for them on two online websites to see if anyone has them. Then will post the part numbers, sources that have them.

If the parts are still available, I will list the MSRP and the FTE member discount price offered by sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM (Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA).

I've been doing this jazz on FTE since 11/04/2006. And, btw: One of the parts locator sites is only accessible to FoMoCo Dealers.
I have a question on a dizzy and i know this is not the right place to ask but p/ms didn't work. I transplanted an 89 5.0 ho into an 87 f150 and over the course of 3 years my memory if a little foggy and i want to be sure that I'm putting the right distributor back in part # on the tag is e7ae-12a332-ba w/mod then i believe a date code of 89 f 30 and below that e6ae-12127-da In my opinion, from everything I've read that you have posted you are a gold mine of info and a valuable asset to this forum. If you can help I would be in your debt. Thank you Brian W.

ND, I told Brian to post here, knowing it wasn't the right forum.

Due to some computer issues, Numberdummy is off line at this time. We are hoping for a triumphant return. Thanks for your patience, and thanks to all others providing answers here as well.

Hi Bill,

I just joined this site and came across your post. I just purchased a 1940 COE which has been previously restored. It has a 6 digit VIN which was issued by the state of Colorado. Do you perhaps have any suggestions on tracking down the original VIN # ? I would like to have this as original and correct as possible, I'm assuming the original VIN tag was missing or illegible, ( I haven't had it transported home yet ) I'll look forward to your advise in the future.

Thanks,
Howard
