put a code reader on the truck pulled up 3 codes p1000, but i have had the battery in and out quite a few times. p1464 but alas i had the air conditioner running which after a little reading is not the thing to do during this test. but the problem one i think is po 622 code .which is generater field terminal circuit. from reading about this it points to again alternater or batterey, but when test them i get 14 volts to battery with truck running and the battery is holding at 12.8 v when truck is not running. i have access to an 2008 f150 , i am going to pull the alternater out of it, stick it in mine and see what happens. will also change battery if the alternater change dont do the trick.
Are these new codes or are they there from when you first changed batt & alt and the batt light stayed on??
If the original codes where not cleared I would clear all now then see if all is OK or they come back then you will know what to fix.
