need help with emissions....
just took my bronco through emissions....and failed.....it passed the NOx...failed both THC and CO
THC standard:2.40....mine:10.86
CO standard:80.0......mine:250.4
what do I need to do to lower each of those readings? I have 35s, and still have 3.55 gears....how much would it help to run smaller tires? Thanks

Looks like you turned the engine off while you were waiting - make sure it's hot & running for at least 5 min before it's tested. <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=37919709&siteid=39251846">tires </a>won't affect the emissions, but a dirty air filter, PCV valve, or breather filter can. Do a complete tune-up, set the timing according to the emissions <a href="http://www.motorhaven.com/">sticker</a> on the hood (or somewhere in the engine compartment), and pull the codes.
