86 460 headers
I've got an 86 f250 4x4 460, and looking to make more torque and mpgs, as truck is only used for towing.
My plan is to start with headers, just looking for recommendations for what headers to use, or probs with fit.
I've been looking at flowtechs and hedman elites coated. But worried about thin flanges on flowtechs.

I run Flowtechs on my truck. Just replaced them a few months back with a new set of Flowtechs. The first set I got for $20 and were quite rusty. They worked fine though they cracked at #4 primary tube near the flange after breaking a motor mount. I went uncoated for my new ones. I spend the money to coat headers for my car once and even though they've hardly been used there's rust coming through the coating. Not worth it if they're just gonna rust anyway.
