My 1999 Super Duty Diesel started to have heavy FOG like exhasts after its last Oil change. I just rebuilt the Tranny a few months ago, and had to replace the #8 injector as well. Mechanic also recommends that we change out the Injector Control Module because #8 injector is still not reading correctly... but that has to wait thats about $1000!
Back to the smoke.... with the oil change we ran some Marvel Mystery Oil in with it to help clear out all the gook. We also rand some Diesel 911 in a tank of fuel and then the smoking started. The smoke is white and smells of exhaust, however if you are not going down the road it is so thick that you can't see the car next to you... (and you get a lot of people yelling at you).
Water is good... we changed the oil again this time without any marvel. Tranny fluid is good. Fuses area all good. We are at a loss... ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Another issue is after fixing a tranny leak 4 days ago my truck now randomly will not start in park but will start in neutral... other times it starts in Park no problem... any ideas here?
