cd installation in 77 ford

can i mount a cd player in my dash without modifying,if not any suggestions

well, im not entirely sure what size radio you have in your vehicle, but i would assume its the same as mine if you have the cassette deck. My '76 has the old style radio which is not a standard din-size like used today. If yours is the same, you wont be able to fit a new reciever without modification, or mounting it elsewhere. Like directly under the radio/HVAC controls.

im with smokey, beginging around 80 or so (might be later, dont quote me) i think ford statrted to offer the DIN sized radio opening...so some modifactions will need to be made.
