Hey guys just thought i would send an up date since the last tech day. I installed the modded HPOP..... gettn 60 more miles out of a tank of fuel, in my 60hp tow setting pulling a jet boat around not so clear, clear lake.

 

Nice results! Does your but-dyno notice any change in acceleration?

 

Not enough to talk about, but a little bit... Mostly my wallet says it's a big improvement!! Lol

I have no real plans for my rig this time, only thing I would like to do is make a run with AE hooked up to see whats going on with it. Might have a trans slipping issue, could be other issues that I don't even know exist. I just want to make sure she's runnin tip top for our September Pismo Beach trip. Gonna be towing the fiver down and dragging it through the sand last thing I want is a trip cut short.

 

Chris watch your trans temp gauge pulling accross the sand. Thats where mine got hot before I noticed it. It was before my JW trans but I'd still keep an eye out.

10/4... this will be about the 20th time I've been out on the sand in Pismo, about 5 times with the big fiver. I NOW stay alert to what my trans temps are doing, the first time was a learning lesson. this will be the first time towing with the DP and basically every other mod I have done

 

Anyone in need of any 7.3 motor parts? I have 2 motors and looking to part out 1 of them. I can bring them with me to the tech day.

 

Do you have any stock injectors?

 

I do, but only for cores, and I'm holding onto them for a little bit longer till I figure out what I'm doing with my injectors.

 

Ok. I'm just trying to rule out two bad injectors. Maybe someone at tech day can help me out with that. I'm up in the air on buying stock or going with stage 1. But before I make any changes I need to get the truck running good before I start making changes.
