96 F150 fuel problems

96 F-150, 4speed, 300-6cyl. Starts in the morning, travel any where from 6 to 20 miles and just stops. Spray Starter in intake line, runs for a few seconds and stops.
Was able to pull start it, but now that has stopped making it start . 110k miles. Have compression, spark, but no fuel when it quits. Let cool down for hours and will start up again....although this time may not, just dunno!! Last winter it would cut out on the way to work at about 6 to 8 miles, but only for a quick second and then kept running. Since then the prob. has gotten worse and worse. Still not starting today after it has cooled down for 5 hours. 2 tanks with elect. fuel pumps in each, no other fuel pump to boost the pressure on this year. Will not make a difference on which tank I use, wont start once it has stopped, for a long time. Changed fuel filter, cleaned the IAC control and gas relay. All grounds are clean too. Also replaced the Brain even tho the other one tested OK.

Try replacing the distributor and see if that helps.

So, cool it runs great, when it gets warm it no longer works (shuts down) and wont start till it's cool again.
