Gonna keep the E40D, and the swap has to happen next weekend as the current 5.0 is on 7 cylinders I think.

I have the correct flexplate for the 5.8 to E4OD but when i went to buy an ecu there were a million and 2 choices. Does it matter, if not then no worries. If so, which one do i want?

For recap I need an ecu for a 5.8 with e40d for a speed density 1993 pickup.

Please help, dad is about to be dead in the water with no work truck.

I have one from a '92 F250 that was 5.8/E4OD. It worked fine, I just parted the truck and kept the engine for my '90 F250. PM me and we can work out a deal.
