So heres whats up, I bought an 85 ranger about a month ago and i love the thing... except all the problem im getting because of the previous owners dumb mistakes. So here is a current list of what needs fixed:
Auto Shifter **** replaced
Vacuum tubing
running rough on startup (might be the S****y vacuum tubing job from previous owner)
gas gauge broken (sometimes pops up so maybe loose ground or punctured bobber?)
tranny leaking (front seal and its waaaay over full so im thinking thats the cause)
random oil leak? (i cant find exactly where it is but the oil pan and filter get dirtied up quickly with oil after driving so maybe its the oil pan gasket)
and carpets!
So that about completes the list, which is the main points needed to be handled with before my birthday (2-ish weeks) when i can legally drive by myself and pick up my girl
Any advice or help? Post what you can help with for more details and ill even get some pictures of the terrible rebuild on the vacuum tubing and wiring he did...
