ok so my trucks rear leaf springs are pretty much collapsed right? and my truck is a 1994 f150 super-cab 4x4 with the 8.8 rear end.
my friend totalled out his 1990 f150 2wd 3 days ago and is gonna give me his leaf springs..theyre lighter duty and havent been abused or even had a large load on em.
are these a direct hook up if i replace mine with his? i have the leafs at my dads shop right now and would love to have em on by the weekend cause im going on a road trip with my fiance to florida..
The spring hanger brackets are different between 2wd and 4x4.
The 2wd leaf springs are 2.5 inches wide.
4x4 leaf springs are 3 inches wide which also makes the
factory 2 inch lift block unusable.
They are quite a bit stiffer, and you will have to ditch the lift blocks, because it will be much higher. Ive loaded down my 150 with the 250 springs and never really got it to sag much.
