Down came the rain...
So, by Thursday or Friday, they are saying that the water levels in Minot will raise 7-8 feet from where they are right now, which is already high...
Just saying...
I am glad we are already evacuated from our house, because there are a lot more people leaving. My cousin is expecting water in the second story of his house...

I wish my lawn would die. I wouldn't have to cut it.

There is an unprecedented amount of rain this year. Some places that have never got more than a few inches at a time have been getting nine. There is so much rain up in Canada that comes right down here. This has never happened here before.
Just think, this is all rain runoff, we haven't even gotten the snow melt from the mountains yet...

My wife is meeting with FEMA tomorrow, and I can't even do anything, as my unit is deployed.

I have to say (and I hope you don't mind much or at least take it in the humor that is given) I'm glad I'm not you!
But it rained hard this morning, and I checked on my roofing claim - nothing had been done.
This afternoon I was calculating how hell is best presented by telephone...
Whatever I did got things moving again

Send the rain here. The crops are starting to show signs of damage from lack of rain... not good.
