I still can't find anything technically saying that any sensors are CAN bus connected.

Even the pinouts show voltage and other reading connected to the PCM.

yes... the engine sensors and actuators will be connected directly to the ECM, and the transmission sensors and actuators will be connected directly to the TCM... together they make up the PCM. Which is connected to the rest of the vehicle via the CAN-Bus.

Stereo (including navigation and sync), gauge cluster, climate control, body control computer (for things like power windows and locks)...

I'm sure I'm missing one or two...
