>I have a 1955 f-100 pickup, with a 223, straight six, I recently stripped down the entire front end and engine down to the block to start painting and all that good stuff. <o
></o
>Well the painting is done and started the assembly of the engine, here is my problem. As I put the "crankshaft pulley" back on I didn't line up the timing marks, so as I removed it again, I broke the pulley....! <o
></o
>And in the process of removing it, I upset the timing by turning the crankshaft....<o
></o
>Now I can’t find another pulley for sale anywhere! They only make the part now for the V8's. What should I do? Should I have the part welded back together or would that upset the balance.<o
></o
>Also, to fix the timing, Can’t I just start it up, (once I get the pulley) and adjust the distributor to the correct angle till she fires correctly?<o
