4X4 conversion help

i have an 84 f250 with 4X4,automatic,460 the body is completely shot, so I've bought an 86 f250 2wd,460 gorgeous 54,000 miles on it little rust here or there. I'd like to take 4X4 and put it in the 2wd any and all advice is appreciated a lot thanks guys -Mitch

to be honest, you would be better off swapping bodies...

Body swap would be easier. Study the front of the 4x4 frame and the 2x4 frame where the leaf spring shackle mounts. You will see the difference in the frames.
