Question

Hi there, im new to Ford trucks, my previous cars have all been Mercedes diesels so i have quite a bit to learn! This site seems like it has a wealth of knowledge and i cant wait to start reading and learning.

I just bought a 1986 Ford F-350, 6.9L diesel, 4door, dually, ROLL-A-LONG package with a Harbor service bed for $900.. I was luck to get such a deal!! The truck runs good and "drives". It currently has no power to the brakes, the previous owner said it needed the master cylinder and a wheel cylinder replaced. I also have to start it using starting fluid, the PO said that it may need a new glow plug relay, or all need new glow plugs alltogether. But once the engine is up to operating temp it fires right up with no problems.
Other than that the only thing wrong is theres no AC compressor.

But my main question to all of you is, What does the "ROLL-A-LONG" package consist of??? I havnt been able to find hardly any info about it...

I know pictures help so i promise to get some up within 24hours!!
Thanks in advance!

For your starting problems check here

For the no powerbrakes check your vaccum pump it sits under the alt and should produce at least 18in, a good one is 26in of vac
