I recently replaced all eight injectors. While I was at it, I had ARP headstuds installed. While the head were off, the dealer's mechanic called me in to show me that the hone marks are still in the cylinders. I never allowed the engine to go over 4,000 miles between oil changes.

I'm considering installing a four inch exhaust system on my truck. Does anyone have any recommendations? If so, please state why you prefer the system you have.

I'm looking for better economy. It's been a good truck, so I'd like to do a little something for her.

btw... I'm not looking for noise; Just performance. Performance as in power or economy or both.

 

Tuning is for power, if you happen to get better mileage consider that icing on the cake. The two usually don't go together.

 

Exhaust won't improve your mileage. Or power. It can affect the turbo lag a little bit, depending, but the only real benefits are a bit lower EGT and the sound.

I have a Magnaflow, and it's a cool thing to have. I probably would'nt waste the time or money on it.
