75 F150 Vacuum question

Hi, I am new to this forum and was wondering if someone could help me figure out the vacuum lines for my 75 F150 360 2brl. There are two lines coming from the passenger side exhaust manifold. One runs to the choke and the other one is currently plugged off. If I remove the plug then it starts sucking air and the idle goes down. Is this line needed? The EGR system is also not connected. Does this need to be hooked up.Thanks

my 75 f100 has a 390/ t18 combo with none of the emissions garbage, but here's how mine is setup:

Edelbrock 750 carb on a holley intake
  • brake booster hooked up to the intake (plug on the rear of the intake)
  • vacuum advance hooked up to the manifold vacuum port on the carb
  • timed vacuum port on the carb plugged
  • pcv valve hooked up to the big port in the middle/front part of the carb
I believe that is all I have hooked up and it runs great!

Hope this helps! Sorry if it doesn't and hopefully someone else will come by with some more info!
